FIRST IMPRESSIONS
Extremely tall, buff young woman with scorpion claws and tail. Fair skin, white undercut, dark eyes. Scorpion exoskeleton is dark red, and limited to her tail, arms, and shoulders (the large pads visible in her art are pauldrons, but she does have a much smaller spikey red cap on each shoulder underneath). Alto voice with a vague midwestern accent. Cheerful and outgoing to the point of sometimes being overbearing; little sense of personal space. A self-described "hugger." Occasionally clumsy in her enthusiasm; tends to underestimate her own strength in relation to her physical surroundings, and is generally embarrassed by any resulting property damage. Otherwise, cheerful and self-confident (and not above throwing her weight around on purpose).
OOC PERMISSIONS
Backtagging: Yes! I may let threads lapse after a couple of weeks, but if you'd like to continue something feel free to give me a nudge. Threadhopping: Yes (as long as it's ok with the other player(s) in the thread, obviously). Fourthwalling: Please don't. Offensive subjects: Nothing I need to avoid entirely, but I'd appreciate a warning on transphobia/intentional misgendering, and on explicit descriptions of hand or eye trauma.
IC PERMISSIONS
Hugging this character: Yes! If the CR is not already actively negative, Scorpia is pretty much always down for a hug and will probably reciprocate enthusiastically. Kissing this character: Maybe? She accepts most forms of chaste affection, so a kiss on the cheek or similar is fine. More intimate smooches are more CR dependent, and should probably be discussed first? Flirting with this character: Go for it, although she's kind of oblivious? If she notices you're flirting, she's going to be much more receptive to women than to men. Fighting with this character: Yes! Be aware that she's 7 feet tall, superhumanly strong, and highly trained in hand-to-hand combat. Also: pincers. And lightning blasts. Injuring this character: Mild scrapes, cuts, and bruises are fine without prior discussion; anything potentially disabling should be discussed ahead of time. Killing this character: Not interested in killing her at this time. Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: OOCly, go for it, she's got no particular defenses against it. ICly, her canon point is just after a period of being mind-controlled by a major villain, so she's going to be kind of jumpy about that kind of thing for a while and may react poorly to unfamiliar mental contact.
OPT IN: HUGS
Scorpia is extremely fond of hugs. She's also big and physically strong enough that she frequently sweeps people off their feet in the process of hugging them. I'll ask before she does this, but if you'd like to opt in and give blanket permission for Scorpia to impulsively pick your character up, or opt out and avoid hugs altogether, comment on this post and I'll make a note.
